APH: Lorenzo Vargas - SICILY

I don't know how it happened (probably /y/'s fault) but I have been sucked into Hetalia. 8( It's a hilarious manga, inaccurate of Italy's behalf but whatever.

...SO I MADE A SICILY. LOL.

Sicily, a.k.a Lorenzo Vargas. His family is...confusing.

He shares the same surname as both Veneziano and Romano because they share the same father. His mother, however, is also that of Greece's. This makes Veneziano, Romano and Greece his half brothers.

This is due to the fact that Sicily was once in Greek control, making most Sicilian, in fact, an Italian/Greek mix.

Much unlike his Italian half brothers he isn't a coward, but a fearless man who strives for a sense of independence. He strives for such independence not only because Sicily is an autonomous region, but because the cowardice and stupidity of his Italian brothers irks him greatly.

However, like his Italian half brothers, he is very fond of Italian cuisine and wines (especially pizza and chianti*). He also likes art, music, naps/siesta, his Greek half brother and basically anything with a sense of beauty.

Sicily is somewhat reluctant to trust others, due to the fact most want to use his house for their own needs, such as trade, or strategics due to its ideal location. Because of this lack of trust, he mainly keeps to himself.

But when Sicily isn't acting stuck-up or withdrawn (which is rare), he shows quite the contrasting personality: He can be humorous and carefree, but most notably he can be elegant and gentile, holding a sense of splendor about him, for Sicily is described as the most beautiful region in all of Italy.

He has little power because he doesn't have an army, but he's got a great influence because he's got the Mafia. EPIC WIN.

...Sicily also likes America, because America liberated him after he basically got BUTTFUCKED by Germany. ;D


*Chianti: an Italian red wine made in Tuscany. ( It's one of Miru's favourites. ;D )
